• Canadian Mental Health Week, May 7-13:
  
  • MacKay’s Ice Cream and the Cochrane Mental Health Clinic have joined forces to provide EmpowerMint (green mint and white vanilla ice cream swirled together with chocolate junior mints thrown in). Come in and try some for your mental health!
    
• Mother’s Day:
  
  • Remember that fruit salad with the marshmallows in it? Celebrating moms everywhere and their crazy ways of getting us to eat our fruit, MacKay’s presents Ambrosia ice cream (light cheesecake flavoured ice cream with pineapple, coconut, maraschino cherries & of course…marshmallows!)

• Canada Day, July 1st. Come Celebrate Canada Day in Cochrane – various events taking place around town, visit Cochrane Tourism http://www.cochrane-tourism.ca/ for more information.
  
  
• Come celebrate 100 years of the Stampede July 6th – 15th! MacKay’s will be ready to celebrate at it’s Weadickville location (at the North entrance behind the Coca-Cola stage). Watch for the MacKay’s announcement of this years ‘special’ centennial flavour…it may be hard to top Beer, Mini Donut & Pancake Breakfast ice creams but we’ll try! • Labour Day Parade, September 3. Join us for the annual Labour Day parade – the biggest Labour Day parade in Alberta that dates back to 1970. Lots of fun for little kids and big kids alike!
  
  
• Cochrane Outhouse Races, September 29th. Come cheer on Team MacKay’s & all the other entries in the fun and funny outhouse races!
